About US
What makes Milk and Marula different?
Milk and Marula brings Africa’s botanical heritage into modern skincare within the UK. We focus on natural African-inspired ingredients, simple formulations and thoughtful sourcing.
Where did the idea come from?
Milk and Marula was inspired by Katia’s South African roots and her own skincare journey. After moving to the UK, she found it difficult to find skincare featuring the ingredients she had grown up with. This sparked her passion for natural formulation and led her to begin creating products in her parents’ kitchen.
Is sustainability important to us?
Yes. Sustainability is an important part of how we want to build Milk and Marula. We aim to make thoughtful choices when sourcing our ingredients and choosing our packaging, while working to reduce unnecessary waste and our impact on the planet.
When will the giving back program start?
Our giving back programme will begin as we grow and become profitable. We’re currently researching charities and community projects that align with our values, and we’ll share the organisations we support once the programme begins.
Is Milk and Marula vegan & cruelty-free?
Yes. Milk and Marula is vegan and cruelty-free. We’re committed to creating skincare without animal-derived ingredients and without animal testing.
